I've used a piece of dp by Teresa Collins.  The lattice was cut with a Tim Holtz Lattice die.
The leaf stamps and dies are from the 'Turning a new Leaf' set by PTI and the 'Pennant Trim' die is from Verve.  The borderpunch is by Upikit.
Added a clothspeg, a chipboard flower, some twine and rhinestones to finish it off.
Afrikaans sentiment saying:  'Congratulation'.

This is another card I have made using the same lo idea.
The flower and leaf stamps and dies are by PTI.

I bought some lovely scrapbooking goodies this morning, so guess what I'll be doing this weekend!!!
Can't wait to start playing with my photos!!

Thanks for the visit - always a pleasure having you here!!!

Have a great weekend!!

AAA#17 and CTS#89

Hi everyone!

Not often that I combine challenges, but for this card I have used the sketch over at the CAS(E) this Sketch blog and I have done some stencilling for the game over at the AAA Challenge blog.

This is the card I have created:

I've sponged my bg with different Distress Inks (oranges, yellow and a little bit of blue and green)
and then made a stencil with my Tim Holtz Alterations Lattice die.  With my Versamark stamp pad and some glittery clear embossing powder I've done the diamond pattern.

I stamped my Afrikaans sentiment with Walnut Stain Distress Ink - sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.
The flourish die is from MFT and the flower stamp and die from Verve.

I really enjoyed making this card and I do like how it turned out!!

Thanks for popping in and have a great day!!

Keep well!!
Kind regards.
Petra

Happy birthday, Sharon!!! (CTS#87, TYI#3)

Hi everyone

Just a quick post before I go to bed!!!

Firstly I want to congratulate my dear friend, Sharon Keanly on her birthday she had on Saturday.  I really feel terrible for being late with this card, Sharon!!  I remembered that Sharon has her birthday in August, but I couldn't remember the day - thought it was somewhere in the middle of the month and then found out that it was yesterday!!  So Sharon, I hope that you had a very lovely day and that the coming year will be one full of joy and happiness!!
Sharon is a very talented cardmaker who makes the most beautiful feminine and girly cards!!  You can visit her blog here to have a look at her beautiful work.
For Sharon's card I've used the combined challenge for the week at CAS(E) this Sketch and Tag You're it.

The sketch:

and the card I've made for Sharon:

Dp by Prima Marketing and the rose and leaf stamps and dies from the 'Life is sweet' set by PTI.
Rose and leaves stamped with Distress Inks (Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, Bundled Sage).
The rose is on foam tape.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.
Sentiment heat embossed on a vellum overlay on the tag.
Rounded it off with a twine bow and rhinestones.

Next year I will be on time with your card, Sharon - will definitely not forget the date again!!

OK, off to bed I am!!

Thanks for visiting and have a super week!!!

Keep well!!
Kind regards
Petra
