Look what I got in my mailbox!!!

Hi everyone!!!!

A quick post to share a beautiful card I received in my mail box this week!!!  Have you heard of the PONY-CASE-press???  If you haven't, I suggest you hop over to Mynn Kitchens' Blog, On a Stampage, to find out what it's all about!!!

The card I want to share is from a sweet friend, Karen Bourke from Serendipity Dragonfly, who will be known by a lot of you.   Karen makes the most beautiful cards, and for the PONY-CASE-Press she has CASED a card of mine.

Just look at Karen's card:

The shimmer on the card is so lovely and Karen has really paid attention to such a lot of stunning detail on the card.

Here's a closer look:

This is my card that Karen CASED:

...and just look at this little Fiscal Shrike having a look at the card

...and then having a closer look

...and then deciding he likes the card as much as I do and sitting on it happily for quite some time!!!

...and this is a Forktailed Drongo enjoying some cheese for breakfast

...and a Cape Bullbull, waiting for his chance to get to the cheese.

We have such a lot of fun feeding the birds - there are a lot of them coming to our balcony to have a feast of meal worms and cheese!!!

OK, all that's left to say is a great big 'Thank you' to Karen for making my day with this lovely card!!!

I'll be doing my weekly blogvisits over the weekend and hopefully I will get to you all by tomorrow night!!!!

Thank you so much for popping in - always a pleasure to have you here!!!!

Enjoying the Pony CASE-Press and CTS#128

Hi everyone!!!!

Hope you're having a great week so far!!!!

Finally my card for Robyn in Australia has reached her and I can post my card.  This card is part of the fun Pony CASE-Press over at my dear friend Mynn Kitchen's Blog, On a Stampage, and you can read all about it by clicking on the link in my side bar on the right, or on the above link.  I hope you will join in and play along - it's really great fun!!!!

I was inspired by the colours and the watercoloured flowers on Robyn's beautiful card, as well as the tag.

I have made this card for her:

The rose and leaves stamps and dies are from PTI.
Used a bg stamp from Great Impressions.
Some vellum, a twine bow, rhinestones and sequins round it off.

I've also got a card for the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge for the week:

ATCAS #65 and Stamplorations Inspiration Project Post #21

Hi everyone!!!!!

I made two CAS cards last night.  My first card I made as a CASE for Vicki's card over at the Stamplorations Blog.  First time I'm joining in the fun over at Stamplorations!!!
Vicki has made a lovely CAS card with a sweet little bird on it, which inspired me to pull out a bird stamp from a local craft shop, Great Impressions.
Here's Vicki's card:

and the card I've made:

The sentiment stamp is from MFT.
Coloured the bird with koki pens and given it some shine with 3D Clear Gloss.
Added a single rhinestone and it was done!!!

It's been ages since I last played at ATCAS.
The code word for the current challenge is 'Butterfly'

I've made this card for the challenge:

The sentiment is from MFT and the butterfly from a stamp set by Crafty Individuals.
Coloured the butterflies with koki pens and given it some shine with 3D Clear Gloss.
Added a black strip at the bottom and a single rhinestone.

Thanks so much for spending some time with me - always a pleasure to have you here!!!
